What is the process for submitting my confirmation statement?

Your confirmation statement becomes due for filing a year and one day after the ‘made up to’ date of your previously filed confirmation statement. You have 28 days from the ‘made up to’ date in which to file the return with Companies House.

Example: If your last return had a ‘made up to’ date of 1st January 2016, your next return will become due for filing on 2nd January 2017. Your return would have to be filed with Companies House by 29th January 2017 at the latest.

If you haven’t filed a return before, your return will be due a year and one day after your company’s incorporation date.

Example: If your company was incorporated on 1st January 2016, your next return will become due for filing on 2nd January 2017. Your return would have to be filed with Companies House by 29th January 2017 at the latest.

How do I file my confirmation statement?

We handle the actual filing of the return on your behalf, and even pay your £13 fee over to Companies House! But before we can do this we need you to check the details on your return and let us know of any necessary changes.
